1) Won’t it take longer for parts to come from Switzerland?
All of our Swiss high precision parts are shipped via air freight over the weekend. Parts are available for shipment from our Victor, NY office within days of machining.
2) What about customs duties and taxes?
Our quoted prices are in U.S. Dollars, FOB Victor, NY with no extra charges. MPC takes care of all the customs paperwork and costs at no additional charge to you!
3) How long does it take to get a quote?

4) Are your raw materials RoHS compliant?
YES! Most of the raw material we use to produce our high precision machined components meets RoHS directives. See our informative Materials Page for machining information.
5) Can you quote secondary processes such as plating and Heat Treatment?
Yes! We may require a little extra time to receive the most cost effective quote from our approved secondary suppliers, but we routinely provide our customers with high precision parts complete to print including various secondary treatments. See a list of our routine secondary processes.
6) I like your high volume pricing, but can’t take or use all those parts at one time. Do I have options?
Yes, MPC can produce and hold for future shipments so that you get the discounted price, but don’t have the inventory costs. In addition, your line never goes down because of lead times. See our Just-In-Time Delivery section for further details.
7) How do you inspect parts?
All of our precision custom components go through primary inspection at the factory with complete in process control (Statistical Process Control) and final inspection before shipment. SPC data can be shipped with each lot upon request. Learn more about our quality philosophy.
At our Victor, NY location we also have a complete lab including a Nikon VM 150 Vision System as well as numerous high resolution micrometers and a Mitutoyo surface test machine used to verify first samples submission (first articles), audit inspection as well as problem solving. 8) Who do I talk to with technical questions or quality concerns?
MPC is the shop next door. Call us and we can resolve your issues directly with you. Our stateside staff has over 30 years experience in the Swiss precision machining industry and can assist you with design issues as well as expedite quality issues to a prompt resolution.
9) What is your “Safety Stock” Program?
MPC works with you to design a program that allows MPC to have your high precision components on our shelves available to ship on demand. 10) Do have the ability to provide multiple part tracking?
One of our strongest attributes is our ability to manage multiple precision custom components for our customers. We routinely provide weekly updates on delivery and production to keep you informed.
11) How can get shorter delivery production and/or quick turn on prototype parts?
We can often provide a 2-4 week delivery to customers whom have multiple parts on order with us by adjusting the machine(s) scheduled for them.
12) Is MPC ISO 9000 certified?
Though processes performed by Micro Precision Components have continually adhered to ISO standards, we have received formal ISO 9001:2008 certification on April 16, 2013. To view the certificate, please click here.
